For as long as I can remember, though, I have loved telling stories. Whether it was making them up for my siblings and cousins around the dinner table, writing them in my creative writing courses, or making arguments for the legal cases I worked on, storytelling was always at the forefront.

Gemini Collective is my way of providing storytelling services to small businesses, brands, entrepreneurs, and authors looking to position themselves as thought leaders in their ever-more crowded markets. Together, we’ll use your authentic stories to create a community of clients and customers that will automatically look to you for guidance.

Let me help you embrace your voice so you can show your audience what sets you apart.

Hey again,

My name is Alex Charnin and I’m your storyteller.

If you looked at my resume, you’d think, “Where did this lady come from?” I have a very accomplished - but very eclectic background.

I started my career taking care of other people’s children and homes while running film festivals, freelance copywriting for small businesses in Miami, and finishing college with my Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. Funnily enough, my college experience actually started in the biology department. I have always loved science and dreamed of being a neurosurgeon. I excelled at recognizing patterns and memorizing things, so I did well there. But then I fell in love with space and dreamed of being an astrobiologist, so I moved over to the physics department. The following year, I was drooling over anthropology and sociology.

It wasn’t until I was wrangled into my first creative writing course that I was forced to out myself as a dreamer. I loved all those courses and careers because I wanted to write stories about people living out those lives. So, I moved over to the English department and never looked back.

A few years after graduating, I ended up going to law school, where I thought I’d have time to write a novel. I bet you know how that one ended. But even though the novel never came to fruition, I still graduated top of my class with a love for the law, a more qualified inner editor, and a Juris Doctor.
